Resume
During this talk I will introduce various projects I contributed to, around data visualization and classification. I will introduce the visualization prototype we developed some years ago and give more details on a constrained projection method we tested on it. I will link this work with the humanities project we participated in, around middleage writings. This will lead us to an ongoing project on caroligian potter shards classification

Short CV
Matthieu Exbrayat received his PhD in Computer Science in 1999, at INSA Lyon, France. Since 2000, he is associate professor in Computer Science at the Laboratoire d'Informatique Fondamentale d'Orléans. He has been working on high performance databases, data visualization and logical statistical machine learning. His recent work concerns supervised and non supervised machine learning and temporal data. He is currently at the head of the C.S. Master Degree at Orleans
